CLARITY

I am inspired,
I am on fire,
Truth born from myth,
A rocket unbridled

Words cannot pass,
What I’ve seen at last,
Ulysses went mad,
Lashed to the mast

Sirens they scream,
Truths from my dreams,
Fallacious intents,
How real they all seem

Thoughts out of phase,
Like the Minotaur’s maze,
So I tear back my eyelids,
Come out of my daze

The smoke has all cleared,
And it’s worse than I feared,
The Promethean denial,
Towards which it’s all geared

Brutally enlightened,
I’m terrorized, frightened,
Now roaming the earth,
Like a lonely Titan
